The course aims to provide a detailed review of the recent literature on the self and attachment from the social psychological, personality, and developmental perspectives. With a specific emphasis on the cultural aspects, the issues such as self-knowledge, self-esteem, self-regulation, and formation and development of attachment bonds will extensively be covered.
