Based on readings of urban space as well as analyses of visual and written texts, this course will trace and map current cultural dynamics and ambivalences of contemporary Türkiye. Each semester the course will be structured around a different theme, emphasizing the ways in which politics and culture are articulated in present-day Türkiye.
